Australia Jazz School

Our location for our first course will be in the fantastic rural city of Ballarat, Federation University, Camp Street campus, in beautiful Victoria. 

We welcome instrumentalists and singers who want to develop and improve their jazz skills. The atmosphere is friendly, fun, and supportive with a commitment to the community. It’s an opportunity to make great new friends and musical contacts. For many, it has proved to be a life-changing experience!

Our course welcomes instrumentalists and singers of all levels.

The Week – Monday 1st – Friday 5th April 

Here’s a taste of what you’ll find:

• Top tutors with international reputations as jazz musicians and teachers.

• A jazz-focused community – where tutors and students live on-site or very close to enabling eat, perform, play, and enjoy time together.

• A comprehensive course program designed to meet the needs of both instrumentalists and singers.

• singers … Alongside specialist vocal sessions, singers will also experience working within an instrumental band. Singers will present a jazz vocal ensemble featuring individual vocal improvisation at the public concert,

• instrumental and vocal tutorials,

• coaching in rhythm,

• inclusive teaching and learning,
